My recent stay at Gasthof Markterwirt left me with mixed feelings. The room was comfortable, especially the cozy bed, though the view of the church cemetery wasn't quite what I had in mind for a peaceful retreat. The location is central, ideal for exploring the nearby attractions in town. While the housekeeping was adequate, the historical charm of the pension added a unique touch to the overall experience.The staff, especially Mikkel, was attentive and accommodating, making our short stay pleasant. The lounge area was a nice spot to unwind with a drink before settling in. The dining facilities offered a good meal, fitting for a quick stopover.Considering the value proposition, Gasthof Markterwirt strikes a balance between affordability and luxury. For those seeking a quaint, characterful stay without breaking the bank, this inn is worth considering. I would recommend it as a decent option for a budget-friendly Austrian experience.
